Physical & chemical property:
IBA pure product is white crystal solid, technical material is white to light yellow crystal.
It is hard to soluble in water, but soluble in acetone, ethanol, aether and other organic solvents,
solubility: >1g/L in benzene, 30-100 mg/L in acetone, ethanol and aether; 10-100 mg/L in chloroform.
Storage: Stored in a cool&dry well-closed container, keep away from moisture and strong light/heat.
Shelf life: Two years under well storage situation
Application:
1. It is a broad-spectrum endogenesis plant growth regulator, It can stimulate rooting system.
2. It can promote cells division and growth, increase errant roots and fruitage.
3. It can increase various fruits and melons’ fruit-setting rate.
4. It can prevent plants from dropping fruit, change the ratio of male and female flowers.
5. It can get inside the plant through leaves and cortices to reach the action point with the nutrient flow.
We also have sodium indolyl butyric acid and potassium indolyl butyric acid, both they can resolve into water easily, and be absorbed by plants.
