There are two kinds belt dryer, one is mesh type, and one is punching plate type. Its fundamental is this: Materials that to be dried are distributed on the conveyer belt by charging device (Such as Star-shape material distributor, swinging belt, grinder or granulator). Conveyer belt will go through the channel that consists of one or several heating units. Each heating unit is equipped with air heating system and circulation system. And Each channel has one or several dehumidifying system. When the conveyer belt goes through it, hot air will pass though the material that on the belt from up to down or from down to up so that the material can be dried uniformly. Heating source can be steam, heat transfer oil, flue-gas or electricity. Fan is used for heat convection and transferring heat to material, and fresh air is supplied and damp air is exhausted. In the drying time cabinet, proper relative temperature and humidity can be kept. Its maximum characteristic is most hot air will circulate in the cabinet, so the heat transferring and mass transferring are strengthened and energy is saved.
Application of Yufeng Mesh Belt Dryer
1. Yufeng mesh belt dryer is used for dehydrating vegetable, granule feedstuff, monosodium glutamate, chicken abstract, desiccated coconut, organic pigment,synthetic rubber, medicines, small wood products, plastic products, aging and solidifying electronics elements, calcium carbonate, white carbon and black dyestuff with good ventilation.
2. This mesh belt dryer is also suitable for producing dehydratiovegetable and fruit, herbal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine and others, which with high moisture containing and low drying temperature. The machine owns the advantages, that its drying speed is fast, the evaporation strength is high and the product quality is good.
Working principles of Yufeng Mesh Belt Dryer
The materials are uniformly load on the mesh-belt by feeder. The mesh-belt uses generally 12 - 60 mesh stainless steel screen and it is drawn and moved inside mesh belt dryer by a transmission device. The drier is composed of several units. For each unit, the hot air is circulated separately. Temperature in each unit is separately controlled. Air blowing speed and exhausting moisture humidity is also measured by probes.
Drying process of Yufeng Mesh Belt Dryer
Drying process is : hot air passes through the mesh-belt from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top, and this will complete the heat and mass transfer process. The air pipe of the top is connected with fan, one part of air is circulated, some exhausted gas is discharged with a special moisture exhausting blower, and other waste gas is controlled through an adjustment valve. The unit amounts can be selected according to the demand drying machine.
