Long Pepper in Indonesia comes from many islands, Java and Sumetra. Surabaya Quality Long Pepper are thicker and long in size.

Long pepper with stems are sold as FAQ grade and stemless are sold as Handpicked quality

Our Processing takes place from

• Receiving from farm collectors, which are  more than 16 pct moisture, with many kinds of foreign matters
• We need to open up every bag  to sort  and remove the foreign matters 
• If the Long Pepper are mouldy, we need to wash with high pressure water
• Washed Long Pepper are Bin/Oven dried at controlled temperature for 6 hours to obtain 13 pct moisture
• Dried product is sent through blower to remove lighter particles
• Next it is passed through metal detectors  before packing into gunny bags or cartons
