General description 

Caustic soda flakes is a solid white, hygroscopic, odorless substance.

Caustic soda flakes easily dissolves in water, with heat release. The product is soluble in methyl 

and ethyl alcohols. Caustic soda flakes is a strong electrolyte 

(completely ionized both in crystalline and solution states).

Caustic soda flakes is not volatile, but it rises easily in air as aerosols. It is insoluble in ethyl ether.  

Property :

Very strong hygroscopicity, dissolve it in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, there are 

soft senses; Corrosivity is extremely strong, so take care when operating.deliquescence when 

exposed to air.
