1.Character:
White hexagonal crystals or powder. Tasteless, non-toxic, soluble in acid, sodium hydroxide, ammonium chloride, insoluble in water, ethanol and ammonia. An amphoteric oxide. Absorption of carbon dioxide in the air, and water generated three zinc carbonate, yellow. When heated to turn yellow, cool white resume.
2.Usage: Zinc Oxide can be added into various materials and products, including rubber industry, plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, ointments, adhesive, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, ferrites, fire retardants, etc.
