| INDICATIONS | Cattle,sheep,goats Albendazole tablet is effective of prevention and treatment against: -Gastro-intestinal worms: Haemonchus,Ostertagia,Trichostrongylus,Strongloides,Bunostomum, Cooperia,Nematodirus,Chabertia,Oesophagostomum,Toxocara. Lungworms:Dictyocaulus,Muellerius,Protostrongylus,Neosrongylus,Cystocaulus. -Tapeworms: Moniezia spp. -Mature flukes:Fasciola spp,Dicrocoelium anceolatum. |
| ADMINSTRATION AND DOSAGE | ORAL ROUTE CATTLE: -General dosage:1 bolus per 80kg body weight(7.5mg albendazole per kg body weight). -For the treatment of mature fluke infection and Ostertagiasis type:the dose must be one bolus per 60kg body weight (10mg albendazole per kg body weight). -Sheep and goats: -General dosage is a quarter of tablet for 30kg body weight (5mg albendazole /kg body weight) - For the treatment of mature fluke infection and protostrongylosis,the dose must be increased up to one half bolus for 40kg body weight(7.5mg albendazole per kg body weight). |
