Description:Mutual solvent is a mixture which has found wide application in treatment fluids.It can be used to prevent surfactant and corrosion inhibitor adsorption onto formation minerals,prevent the formation of emulsions and disperse additives that have limited solubility in treatment-fluid blends. It reduces the adsorption of surfactants onto formation minerals,this results in improved return of treatment fluids from the formation and a reduced tendency for emulsion to form on return of those fluids to the surface.
