HT-Future XFP 10G光模塊一種可熱交換的,獨立于通信協議的光收發模塊，常用波長是 850nm, 1310nm 或1550nm，用于10G bps的SONET/SDH，光纖通道，gigabit Ethernet，10 gigabit Ethernet和其他應用中，也包括 DWDM 鏈路。XFP包含類似于 SFF-8472 的數字診斷模塊，XFP的多源協議(MSA)直接采用了XFI接口規范來定義電路接口,完全滿足SDH光傳輸網OC-195 / STM-64對9953.28 Mbit/s速率的要求。
